Mortuary services
Welcome to the mortuary department at BHRUT (Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust). The mortuary team ensure all deceased patients are always treated with the utmost dignity, respect and care.
We provide a safe, secure and dignified environment to care for those who die in both our hospitals and in the local community.

Queen's Hospital:

King George Hospital:

Telephone: 020 8970 8293, Open 09:00 to 11:00 (Monday to Friday).
As of 1st September 2024, anyone that dies outside of the hospital, but within the London Borough of Havering will no longer be brought into Queen's Hospital mortuary. All of these deceased will instead be taken to the East London Forensic Centre (Walthamstow public mortuary).
