We've given our 100,000th vaccine dose

100,000 jab being administered at King George Hospital

We recently reached an incredible milestone in our vaccination efforts, as we gave our 100,000th vaccination. Naomi and Pamela with their chocolates

Naomi Nwabueze grabbed her jab at our King George Hospital vaccination hub and received a complimentary box of chocolates, as did Pamela Watkinson who gave her the jab.

The milestone reflects a remarkable journey over the last nine months. A huge well done and thank you to everyone involved for their determination and resilience to successfully deploy our vaccination programme.

We know there’s still so much more work to do. The vaccines offer us the best protection from Covid-19 and are the best way for us to move on from the pandemic. If you haven’t already, you can book to receive your vaccine at our centre via the National Booking System.

Receiving your second jab is also so important to make sure you are fully protected – so please make sure to attend both appointments.
