If you or your family or friends need health advice over the bank holiday weekend, there are lots of options which will mean you can get back to eating lots of chocolate and enjoying Easter with your loved ones more quickly.
As well as local GPs across all three of our boroughs, Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge, offering more appointments over the long weekend, our GP hubs will also be offering urgent appointments every day over the Easter break.
Hub appointments are available from 6.30pm to 10.30pm weeknights and from 8am to 8pm during the weekend, including Good Friday and Easter Monday. You just need to be registered with a GP in your area.
Book an appointment by calling 020 3770 1888 from 2pm to 9pm on weekdays and 9am to 6pm at the weekend. More information on the location of these hubs in your borough can be found on our get the right care for you page.
You can also call NHS 111 is you need advice, and advisors are able to book you an appointment at a GP hub if you need to be seen urgently. NHS 111 is free to call and operates 24 four hours a day seven days a week.
Did you know your local pharmacist can also help? They can advise you on how to treat lots of common health complaints, meaning you can pop in at your leisure without booking an appointment or waiting to be seen.
See below to find out which pharmacies are open in your area over the Easter break:
Local walk-in centres will also be open throughout the weekend where you can be seen without an appointment. Walk-in centres in our boroughs are as follows; Barking Community Hospital Walk-in Centre, Loxford Polyclinic, Harold Wood Polyclinic and South Hornchurch Walk-in Service.
