Our Trust has been shortlisted in three categories of the Nursing Times Workforce Awards. We’re up for Best Employer for Diversity and Inclusion, Best Workplace for Learning and Development, and Overseas Nurse of the Year for Harry Galsote, who joined our Trust in January 2020 from the Philippines.

These awards recognise the excellent work being done by trusts to support the nursing and midwifery workforce across the NHS.

Kathryn Halford OBE, our Chief Nurse, said: “Being finalist in three categories is a great achievement.

“I am thrilled we have been recognised for our hard work in making our Trust more inclusive. We have put a lot of effort into improving how we develop our nurses, and I am so pleased we have also been recognised for this.”
