Welcome to Louise Dark, our new Managing Director of King George Hospital

Louise Dark - Managing Director KGH

We’re delighted Louise Dark has started work as Managing Director of King George Hospital (KGH). This new role is part of our focus on transforming the way our two hospitals are run. Louise, who trained as a pharmacist, is joining us from NHS London where she was responsible for improving the delivery of elective (planned) care and diagnostic services across the capital.

Commenting on her appointment, Louise said: “I’m excited to be part of the team at King George Hospital that has a busy A&E, medical wards and an elective surgical hub. The work we’re doing at KGH to cut waiting lists is innovative and has rightly attracted praise. With my senior colleagues, I will strive to ensure the experience of all patients and staff across the hospital continues to be a positive one”.

Our Chief Executive, Matthew Trainer added: “We’re fortunate to have someone with Louise’s experience join us as a member of our Board and as Managing Director of KGH. It’s a hospital that is benefiting from investment and has a bright future”.
