We’re the first in England to carry out a coil embolisation using a Nautilus device, the latest technology for treating brain aneurysm, a weakness in the wall of a blood vessel in the brain. Two patients had the procedure at Queen’s Hospital on Tuesday 8 July.

We hosted a special event to mark the achievement, which was attended by Ilford South MP Jas Athwal and the Mayor of Redbridge, Beverley Brewer.

Patients, staff, and visitors at King George Hospital were able to walk in and receive free health checks thanks to a visit from the Healthy Redbridge Bus.
