Over a 100 nurses recruited
102 nurses have been offered jobs at our Trust after they came to the open day at Queen’s Hospital and were interviewed.
Our nurse recruitment day took place on Saturday 4 March and was a huge success.
Stella Opoku from the University of Hertfordshire said: “I am so pleased to have got my first nursing job with Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I cant wait to start work!.”
We are a large acute trust providing a wide range of hospital services such as emergency medicine, trauma care, surgical and medical specialties, neuro services, therapy services, maternity and paediatric care – it’s full of exciting job opportunities.
All newly qualified nurses are provided with pastoral support from our award winning Senior Intern Team.
Chief Nurse Kathryn Halford said: “These recruitment days are highly successful and we’ve been very pleased with both the number and calibre of candidates who have shown an interest in working for our Trust.
“We are still keen to hear from experienced nurses seeking a new challenge, those looking to return to practice and students due to qualify from university, who can take advantage of our innovative rotational posts working across our acute setting.”
If you know anyone who would be interested in working here please tell them to get in touch with Beverley Sawer, Recruitment Nurse on 01708 43500 extension 2805 or e-mail beverly.sawer@nhs.net.
