Following a national announcement yesterday (Tuesday 15 June) that the NHS will provide further investment for dealing with Long-Covid, including a number of hubs for children, our Long-Covid clinic lead, Adam Ainley, was called upon to comment on ITV News.

Respiratory consultant Adam (pictured aboive) spoke to health correspondent Emily Morgan about how we have seen the number of patients referred to our clinic rise five-fold since February this year. He added that more research is needed into the long-term effects of the condition, to judge how far into the future the NHS will be dealing with it.
