I am sorry to inform you that Onyenachi Obasi, one of our long-standing agency nurses, died last week in Queen’s Hospital.

Alongside her role as a healthcare visitor, Onyenachi worked at the weekend for our Trust for many years and on several of our wards.

She was a popular, and much-loved nurse and our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and colleagues at such a difficult time. I have no doubt she will be greatly missed.

Onyenchi was 51 and leaves behind a 19 year old son. Her family are fundraising for her funeral and to support her son; if you would like to donate, please visit her GoFundMe page.
