The Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund brought smiles to the faces of children who had to spend Christmas at Queen’s Hospital, by delivering sacks full of presents ahead of the big day.

The charity, which supports children diagnosed with cancer and their families, runs a toy drive every year where members of the public, local schools and businesses donate toys to be given to children in hospital.

Fundraising Coordinator Becky Dimond visited our children’s ward at Queen’s Hospital to make the huge delivery of toys, alongside fundraisers Preet Battu and Joe Cavanagh, just before Christmas.

She said: “We were delighted, once again, to donate gifts to help brighten up Christmas for children with cancer, their siblings and families, at Queen’s Hospital.

“We hope to have raised a few smiles with these gifts, many of which have been sent to us by our supporters and members of the local community.”
