Resident doctor strike: 14–19 November
From Friday 14 to Wednesday 19 November, resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors) will be taking strike action.
This will have a significant impact on services across our hospitals, particularly as our teams are currently adjusting to a new way of working following the introduction of our electronic patient record.
Getting the right care
Please help us make sure emergency care is available for those who need it most:
- Only attend A&E in life-threatening emergencies.
- For non-urgent issues, please contact your GP, your local pharmacy, or NHS 111 (online or by phone). More information is on our get the right care for you page.

- If you do not hear from us, please attend your appointment as planned.
