Referrals and other information
Please do be prepared to wait as we deal with a very large number of patients each day and it may not be possible to see you exactly at your appointment time. You may be seen by a nurse technician or orthoptist before you see a doctor and you may not be seen in order of attendance as children and acute eye emergencies take precedence.
You may also be asked to come back the following day if our capacity has been reached and your condition does not require immediate treatment.
