High demand on our Emergency Department

Queen's A&E Entrance 29.1.2013

Emergency Department sign at Queen's Hospital

Due to significant pressures on healthcare services across London today, our Emergency Department (ED) at Queen’s Hospital is busier than usual.

Therefore, to ensure our specialist emergency care team can look after the patients who really need them, please only come to the ED if it is an emergency.

You can self-care for more minor ailments and you can also go to your local pharmacist for help and advice. If you need to see a doctor, you can book GP hub appointments up until 10pm on weeknights, if you’re registered with a GP. Call 020 3770 1888 to book.

You can find out more on our get the right care for you page.
