Our Finance Director Jeff Buggle was among executives and other senior staff enjoying a Come Dine with Me style meal with patients.

Both our hospitals hosted a dinner party with senior staff joining patients at the table for a meal of the same food which is usually served to patients.

King George Hospital hosted a Tangy Tuesday event, where free pieces of fruit were handed out and there was Thirsty Thursday at Queen’s Hospital, with free bottles of water on offer.

But the most fun was had on our children’s wards at Queen’s Hospital’s, when young patients got the chance to design tasty fruity faces from a range of different fruits – and then enjoy eating it all!

Nutrition and Hydration Week ran until 20 March.
