Our Trust has launched a dedicated maternity helpline to provide women and their families with direct and easy access to maternity-related information. This new service will also aid GPs and other health care professionals in caring for pregnant women in our boroughs.

Midwife Simbi Moula said “The aim of the service is to triage calls and give appropriate advice including for those women in early labour. It also provides a port of call for pregnant women who have a health issue that they need to discuss with a midwife. 

“I am very excited about this launch as I believe it’s incredibly important that the women we care for can access support from an experienced midwife 24 hours a day.”
