A-level physics students at Chigwell School got to see behind the scenes of our Radiology department to learn more about x-rays, CT scans and nuclear medicine.

It’s the third time we’ve invited pupils into our hospital to learn more as part of the medical physics section of their course.

Bryan Porter, Head of Physics at Chigwell School, said: “Practical demonstrations like this are something we can’t do, so it really brings it to life for them. It helps them to see the basics of what they’re learning in the classroom.”
